THE TRIP
Complete Bali
9 nights. One island, the best of it.
Most trips show you one Bali. We hit every side of it at its best, in the right order, and what we list here is not everything.
Canggu first, at full volume. The best beach clubs on earth, a crowd of beautiful, interesting people from every corner of the world, fine dining, and art that looks like the future. Nights you will edit for the retelling. Surf and serious coffee when you want them, genuine street food at spots we trust, and a modern Balinese villa with private pool to recover in. Your own room, always.
Then Ubud. Quadbiking through the jungle, waterfalls you swim under, scooters through rice terraces, lunch by the water. A royal palace, live performances, and hidden warungs behind the palms serving flavours that exist nowhere else. One night is ours: fire, private chef, whiskey, maybe cards. This is where the reset happens.
Then the boat. From Kusamba port across open water to Nusa Penida, watching the island rise out of the sea. Coconuts on the beach, cocktails served with your feet in the water, manta rays in the channels, cliff views that do not look real, and nights in lumbung-style island villas. Pure island living.
Kuta closes it with a buzz. A free day to shop: markets where your rand goes far, the polish of Beachwalk mall, Waterbom if you want one last rush. Then a comfortable 4-star near the airport for one final proper sleep before we see you onto your flight.
Flights included. Two meals a day, street food to private chef. A team with you throughout. And a few surprises we only reveal on the ground.
STOP 01 — CANGGU
Canggu
3 NIGHTSIn the heart of Bali's most alive beach city. Premium beach clubs, surf at sunset, scooters through rice-field backstreets, and the best coffee and street food on the island. Canggu is where the trip finds its pulse.

Trip highlights
DAY 1The Arrival
- The WelcomeLand, and we have you from here. A porter loads your bags, a welcome drink and snack waits in the car, and you roll through the vibrant sights and sounds of Bali toward your villa.
- Your Canggu VillaSettle into a baller Balinese-style villa in the heart of Canggu, private pool, lounge spaces, everything close by.
- In-Villa MassageShake off the jet lag Bali style with a traditional Balinese massage the moment you've settled in, without leaving your room.
- Golden Hour Welcome DinnerEase into the afternoon at a beachfront club on the sand, palms overhead and the pool a few steps from the surf, then gather as the sun drops for a relaxed first dinner together.
- Night One, Eased InThe first evening stays easy, but for anyone still going we'll slip out into Canggu's vibrant nightlife. Pace yourself though, the real party is tomorrow.
DAY 2Party in Paradise
- Slow Morning, Balinese BreakfastStroll out to a nearby warung for a Balinese breakfast and a spread of tropical fruit, then let the morning drift before the day builds.
- Surf or YogaYour choice: a surf lesson on Canggu's famous beach break, or a guided yoga session on the sand as the morning warms up. Earn the afternoon either way.
- Lunch Before the Beach ClubA proper sit-down lunch first, modern Balinese done well, fresh and full of flavour without weighing you down. Line the stomach, then we head for Finns.
- Finns Beach Club, Sunset to Full SendFirst round is on me. Arrive late afternoon while it's still hot, swim up to the bar, lounge as the sun drops into the ocean, then stay as the place transforms: disco balls, smoke, lights, live vocalists, pumping music. This will be the best party of your life.
- The After PartyFor those still rolling, slide with us into Canggu's late night scene. Or take the lift back to the villa and call it a legendary night. Your call.
DAY 3The Creative City
- Cafe Culture, Done RightEase into the day at a Canggu brunch spot. Think avo on toast, tropical smoothies and coffee good enough to build a morning around.
- Nuanu Creative CityMid-afternoon we head to Nuanu, a visionary city of the future rising on Bali's coast. Part art world, part think tank, part playground, it's where digital nomads, founders and creatives from across the globe live, build and share ideas. Monumental sculptures, the Labyrinth arts centre and architecture unlike anything else on the island mean every turn is a gallery. Come rub shoulders.
- Lunch Your Way. Restaurants, cafés and food halls scattered across the city, from regional Indonesian and single-origin coffee to contemporary fine dining. Take your pick and eat where the mood takes you.
- Luna Beach Club. Perched above the black sand of Nyanyi Beach, glass, bamboo and open ocean views.
- Dinner Included. A stylish dinner at Luna, cliffside, as the sky starts to turn.
- Fire on the Sand. After dark the fire dancers come out, spinning flame against the black sand and the surf. One of those moments you'll be talking about long after you're home.
- Poolside Sessions. The DJs take over as the light goes, music running late by the pool with the ocean just beyond. Stay as long as you like.
- Or Wander Into the Light. Away from the music the city switches on: sculptures lit from within, glowing palms, installations that react as you move through them. Nuanu after dark is a different place entirely.

QUESTIONS

THE TRIP
Everything that matters. Return flights from Cape Town, 9 nights of accommodation with your own room, two meals a day from street food to fine dining, all scheduled activities and experiences, in-villa massages, a pre-trip fashion consultation, a gym session with assessment, airport meet and document check, and a 24/7 concierge driver for the full trip. You land with the big costs handled. Your only real expense is spending money.
Never. Every guest gets their own room, on every trip. It's non-negotiable on our side.
Never more than 8. Small enough that the group actually becomes a group, large enough that dinner is never quiet.
Nine nights across Bali's best: the beach city energy of Canggu, the jungle and culture of Ubud, the island escape of Nusa Penida, and a Kuta finale. The full location-by-location plan is on this page, and confirmed guests receive the detailed day-by-day before departure.
The Consulate team hosts the trip end to end, including a trip concierge and chef, a dedicated photographer, and a local experience officer who has spent twenty years showing travellers the real Bali. You're never handed off to a rep.
FLIGHTS AND TRAVEL
Flights are included, economy class with Qatar or Emirates, departing Cape Town International and ticketed in your own name. You're on a real ticket with a real airline, not a group voucher.
Yes. The package departs from Cape Town, so you'd arrange your own connection to CPT. Talk to us and we'll help you figure out the smoothest option.
It's easy. South African passport holders get a visa on arrival, roughly 600,000 IDR (about R550 ZAR) paid at the airport, and Indonesia's digital arrival card is completed before you fly. We help every guest with document prep, the arrival card, and a passport check before departure. If your passport needs renewing, tell us early and we'll guide you.
Trip and medical insurance is available. Contact us and we'll point you to cover that suits the trip.
THE EXPERIENCE
Comfortably active, never punishing. There's swimming, snorkelling, some walking and optional adventure like quad biking. If you can handle a beach day and a flight of stairs, you can handle this trip. Almost everything physical is optional, and the pace always leaves room to opt for a lounger and a cold drink instead.
Not at all. Every activity is beginner-friendly with proper guides, and nothing is compulsory. Plenty of guests try something for the first time. That's half the point.
Light. Bali is warm year-round. Every guest receives a pre-trip fashion consultation and packing guidance, so you'll arrive with exactly what you need and look good in every photo.
One of the best parts of the trip. Two meals a day are included, built as a journey from legendary street food to private chef dinners to fine dining. Come hungry.
Only if you want them there. Our photographer shoots the trip, and you decide what footage of you gets used. Full stop. Many guests want everything, some want nothing public. Both are respected completely.
